Product Description:
We are involved in manufacturing and exporting a potassium citrate which is also known as tripotassium citrate. It is a hygroscopic crystalline powder which is white in colour. The potassium citrate is benefited to reduce pain and frequency of urination. It is also used for dogs and cats. As a food additive, potassium citrate is used to regulate acidity and is known as E number E332. Medicinally, it may be used to control kidney stones derived from either uric acid or cystine.

Application:

• It is used as a flavouring, stabilizing agent and acidulant in food Industry.
• It is also used as an alkalizing agent in the treatment of mild urinary tract infections such as cystitis.
• Potassium Citrate is used as a pharmaceutical aid in veterinary practice

Usage:
It is used to reduce the pain and frequency of urination caused by highly acidic urine as a non-irritating diuretic. It may be used to reduce the danger of crystalluria during sulphonamide therapy. It is widely used to treat kidney stones, and in cystinuria. It is also used in many soft drinks as a buffering agent. It is also used as an alkalising agent in the treatment of mild urinary tract infections such as cystitis.
